Here’s the thing.. the only place I could find this song was  a youtube vid from Australia’s “So you think you can dance” show.. so, obviously turn your screen off once you have clicked PLAY. I learned to play this song recently and I have it pretty-well down. The difference between someone who can play guitar and a true musician, is that I learnt it “straight” and it didn’t even cross my mind to put this slow groove to it, to turn it into something truly special. Sound up, screen down..Blackbird.

If you’re a fan of botanical architecture, this might just be the coolest building ever. Architects Minsuk Cho and Kisu Park of Mass Studies designed this flora-clothed multi-level building to house Belgian fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester’s store in Seoul, South Korea. The building was completed in October 2007 and takes green roofs and living walls to another level, using foliage to cover both the external and internal wall surfaces. We love that it looks as if the building is growing up from underneath the greenery, blurring the lines between plants as ornamentation or structure.

Call me a nerd if you must, but I’ve been watching the progress of the “dog” series robots from Boston Dynamics for a while.
